His original screenplay Jack Jack and Jack the Ripper, written start-to-finish in 10 hours and 53 minutes, tells the story of a lumberjack, a dancing bear, and Jack the Ripper as they battle for the love of the same fallen woman in turn-of-the-century St. Louis.
