JEFF. The one about United flight 93–

MIKE. Too soon!

JEFF. It’s about what happens on the plane that was hijacked on September 11^th–

MIKE. Too soon! It’s too soon! Do you understand me? It’s still too soon.

(Beat.)

JEFF. It’s been almost 5 years since 9-11. You don’t think people are ready to see a film that deals realistically with what happened on that day?

MIKE. I think people are perfectly capable of making up their own minds whether they’re ready to see a film about what happened on September 11^th. But it’s still too soon for people to have to listen to your fucked up opinions about a film about what happened on September 11^th. It’s too soon.

(Long beat. Jeff looks hurt. Long pause. Jeff gets over it.)

JEFF. The terrorists kicked ass–
