Greetings, D'Shawn Kirksey! It seems I stumbled upon your FB announcement just a few hours too late. I am one of the playwrights on Aesop Refabled. Very excited to see people still finding a way to make theatre in a theatrically-challenging circumstance. I have a couple questions for you, if you've got the time: 1) Where is the home site for this production? (i.e. Were one to have tried to sign up in advance, where would that have been done?) 2) Is this performance still available to be viewed somewhere or was it a "live" performance? 3) Does Readers Theatre 2.0 a self-contained entity, or is it a branch of one of the other theatres you work with in Baytown? (I could not find a web page for it) I hope you and your actors had a good time of it. Best, ...Jeff

We're all affiliated with different theaters. My daughter and her friends were missing Theater, so we got together and decided to do a show on ZOOM. The kids named their group, found all of their props and costumes from their house, they found all of the sound effects, and I directed them. I do direct at a couple of theaters in the area, but we did this on our own. It was a live show last night only, because I couldn't afford to pay for more than one night. But I will tell you, we all had sooooo much fun with this show. The audience is begging for more. If you have any other plays that would work well on ZOOM, please let me know.
We pretty much just sent invitations to friends and family, then once they all signed up, we posted on our Facebook pages, so others could join if they wanted. We will look at doing a Website, if this takes off. Now that I have you on messenger, I can send you an invitation, if we ever get to do another one of your plays.
