BUFFALO'S NEWEST THEATRE COMPANY ANNOUNCES FIRST SEASON AT THE PARK SCHOOL OF BUFFALO.
First Look Buffalo Theatre Company, dedicated to the development and production of new plays, will be in residence at The Park School of Buffalo for its 2022-23 season.
With a company of thirty-five ensemble actors, six directors and nine playwrights, founders Bob Rusch and John Patrick Patti will present a series of staged productions, readings, and workshops in the 110-seat theatre located at 4625 Harlem Road in Amherst, NY.

Although this is First Look Buffalo's inaugural season as a not-for-profit theatre company, the group has been producing locally for three years under the name First Look Buffalo Stage
Productions, at both the former Theatre Loft/Ujima Theatre and The New Phoenix Theatre on the Park, respectively.
First Look Buffalo Theatre Company's upcoming season will include a world premiere, two east coast premieres, a one-act/one-location festival and nine staged readings of new plays written by members of the playwright wing:

FIRST LOOK BUFFALO’S INAUGURAL SEASON CONTINUES WITH “LETS PLAY HOUSE: EIGHT SHORT PLAYS. ONE EMPTY HOUSE.”
First Look Buffalo Theatre Company, dedicated to the development and production of new plays, presents LETS PLAY HOUSE: EIGHT SHORT PLAYS. ONE EMPTY HOUSE. This production features eight short world premiere plays that all take place in the same setting, an empty house. The plays are all written by members of First Look Buffalo’s playwright wing and feature a variety of both comedies and dramas, with topics ranging from the lost of a loved one, the paranormal and even time travel. The production opens on Friday, February 3rd 2023 and will run Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm through February 12th (6 performances). Ticket prices are $30 general admission with discounted tickets for students and seniors at $20. The company is in residence at The Park School of Buffalo Theatre, located on the school’s campus at 4625 Harlem Road in Amherst, NY. Parking is free.

Additionally, please remember that we will all also be writing a short 10-minute piece for the First-Look One Acts opening February 3, 2023. Please send your 10-minute plays by the week of November 20th, as we need time to cast and rehearse.The one acts will all have the same setting: an empty house (i.e.: a home with no furniture in it). There are a lot of really cool avenues to go in with this setting! Please let me know asap if anyone objects to the setting and we can have a conversation.
