Are you looking for something different for Christmas this year? Well, this is the show for you: eight reindeer dishing about the real Santa. All those rumors you've heard about him and the elves? About Rudolph's little secret? About Vixen's story that was leaked to the press? All true. Yes, the reindeer finally speak up and--believe us--they do not hold back! Scandal erupts at the North Pole when one of Santa's eight tiny reindeer accuses him of sexual harassment. As mass media descends upon the event, the other members of the sleigh team demand to share their perspectives, and a horrific tale of corruption and perversion emerges, which seems to implicate everyone from the littlest elf to the tainted Saint himself .
This play is for adult audiences only! HO HO HO!

The darkest Christmas comedy you're ever gonna come across....what happens when the eight most athletic, prestigious and downright sexy reindeer in the world decide they've had it with the intrigues of working at the North Pole and decide to speak out? Did Santa really do all those things? Why are Vixen and Blitzen so angry? And what did actually happen to Rudolph? All revealed, and more, in the blackest show of the year....Wings Productions is proud to present:
A one-week-only opportunity to hear the celebrated Eight given free rein to speak out on the recent North Pole scandal. See Christmas as you'd never imagined it before ...
No-one ever said Santa was nice. Who knows if he's been bad or good? Well, the Reindeer know. And now they're talking... A production of Jeff Goode's classic subversive slant on the legend of Santa Claus, and why we really stop believing in Christmas. For all those who want to see beneath the sweets and gingerbread, here's the real story. Not suitable for children.

Jeff Goode's ultra-dark comedy, The Eight: Reindeer Monologues finished out Confetti Stage's first season. This wickedly funny work portrayed Santa Claus' eight tiny reindeer with human personalities, and provided them with a very contemporary, and Clintonesque scandal with which to deal. This piece was so highly acclaimed by those who saw it, that it is being brought back to close out our 2006 season as well.

In a late addition to the holiday list, the Ledges Playhouse is offering two nights of hilarity in a fundraiser for the new group. They'll be performing the adult show "Reindeer Monologues" by Jeff Goode at the Creole Gallery."The premise is that scandal has broken out in Toyland," said artistic director Kevin Burnham. Santa has been accused of sexual harassment and rape. The media frenzy ensues and we hear monologues from each of the eight reindeer.
"By mid-December, you're tired of hearing all the Christmas stuff. ('Reindeer Monologues') is a really nice change for those who want to get away from the good cheer," Burnham said.
