"Someone else's loss is my chocolaty goodness"that's this year's theme sentence for the "Theater of NOTE 10-Minute Plays"
now we just need you to write the plays
Here's what's going to happen...
I write and send this e-mail (check)
You get inspired and write a play which is less than 10 minutes long
You e-mail your script in to me (by February 25th)
We print out all submissions and have a day of reading in which we read every script and vote on our favorites
We interview directors and audition actors
We put up an evening of top rate, heart-clutchingly good short plays (May 1st-30th Friday & Saturday nights @ 11PM)
Everyone wins the lottery (metaphorically)
"Someone else's loss in my chocolaty goodness."
What does that mean to you?
Loss? Chocolate? Schaudenfraude? Two wiener dogs debating race relations? Covered in chocolate?"Someone else's loss in my chocolaty goodness."
All submissions remain the property of the writer. If you have any specific request, or conditions, please make them clear when submitting.

and I'm happy to report, my students are currently looking at "Portrait of the Virgin Mary ..." as a possible show for next semester. Hoping this letter finds you well -- thank you for all you do! john sefel artistic director, ghostlight theater co. theatre lecturer, chester college of new england

This past semester I taught a Theatre of the Absurd class at Chester College of New England, and after we got through the Beckett/Albee/Ionesco stuff, I was proud to introduce them to so much of your work. I can proudly say that it lead to some great readings and in-class discussions, to the student theatre club putting on "The Eight," and to a currently raging debate about the possibility of staging "Portrait of the Virgin Mary" during the spring, '09 semester.
We are figuring out our season brochure ... so I was wondering if we have the official green light to do "Svetlana" as a December 2009 show.
