A collection of high schools coming together to compete on the stage. Although there can only be two winners to move onto districts there is still a lot of fun to be had at this festival. All members of Drama Club are asked to attend unless you can present a logical reason such as a major test or being sick. This does count towards your I.T.S. points and even more it's a blast where you can make lots of new friends. It does take place during the school day so make sure to check to see what you have schedualed that day and also you will need a ride as it does extend usually into the evening. Come participate in this years AAA Festival.
It starts as school starts so make sure to show up in the auditorium that day. All classes that day will be excused as a field trip but you will still be required to make up any work that you missed. Check in as you arrive so we can keep track of people.

6th Grade Play
Date: Thursday - February 27, 2014
Time: 10:15 AM
Location: Schoolhouse Theater
The 6th Grade presents the play "UBU"
UBU - 6TH GRADE PLAY
Directed by Kathleen Stewart
The Sixth Grade Play entitled UBU was a huge hit with the entire Elementary community. The sixth graders devoted a term to working on improvisational skills, developing multiple characters, staging fight scenes, and bringing a one act play to life on the stage. The 4th and 5th graders painted the 17th Century village backdrop and even built a couple of thrones.
The satire provided contagious laughter and as always contained valuable messaging, this time on issues of leadership and governance.

The annual 6th grade play was a hit once again. Performing ÒUbuÓ under the direction of Kathleen Stewart, the 6th graders acted several parts each and learned how to enact dramatic fight scenes.
