Kids Conspiracy

Our plot is simple: Quality theater for families

The forecast for the next Kids Conspiracy production is wet, with scattered laughter and thunderous applause.

Princess Gray and the Black/White Knight by Jeff Goode will be a damp, funny show September 7 and 14 at the Foulds Theatre in Fort Myers. There will also be a special evening performance on Friday, September 13 at 7 p.m.

This is an absurd play about tolerance and water rights where the leaders keep messing up international relations and the peasants have to fix it for themselves.

While audiences in the Foulds Theatre are reasonably safe, the afternoon shows in the Frizzell Amphitheatre outside will be very splashy and many audience members will get wet. "We're doing something a little different outside through the literary vehicles of water cannons, balloons and hoses," says Shawn Holiday, director of Kids Conspiracy. "It's going to be quite a finale so we encourage people to bring chairs, blankets and towels."

Princess Gray and the Black/White Knight by Jeff Goode will be presented on September 7 & 14 (11:30 a.m. at the Foulds Theatre and 1 p.m in the Frizzell Amphitheatre) in Fort Myers. There will also be a special show on Friday, September 13 at 7 p.m. in the Foulds Theatre. Tickets are $5 with group rates available. Call 936-3239. The Foulds Theatre and the Frizzell Amphitheatre are both located at the Lee County Alliance of the Arts, 10091 McGregor Blvd., in Fort Myers.

Kids Conspiracy, our Children's Theatre Division, was created to provide a quality theatrical experience for families at an affordable rate. Kids Conspiracy uses local children in productions that are overseen by professional directors and technical staff, with the purpose of providing an insight into character development, stage presence and helping to boost self-esteem and confidence. Theatre Conspiracy does not charge for children to be involved in its productions; our goal is to nurture the talent of young performers.
