UNTIL HER SOUL FELL DOWN NEXT TO ME
things i like:
poona the fuckdog (loves you)
word root dictionaries.
planning and organizing and making lists.
things i do not like:
missing the last bus of the night.
feeling like vomiting.
working on saturdays.
on thursday i wore a miniskirt for the first time in probably a year. with ripped fishnets and knee high boots with big old heels and a black turtleneck and more black eye makeup than edie sedgwick. and it felt good. just as good as wearing cut off jean shorts and three t-shirts and a hippie cardigan and basketball socks with red stripes and converse on wednesday. my ability to dress at entirely opposite ends of the sexual/gender/fashion spectrum, depending on my mood, is so important. my clothing is me. i am that shallow.
the bus like a damp turtle shell pulled away from the curb. the sky fell down.
we are drowning. we have been drowning all day.
i am looking at you like driving parallel to a train. the concept of movement gets confused--your wheels moving or mine? forward or back?
con-trol. the little wheel. i've got to check against.
