Fully Reciprocal Theatre Company

Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Fully Reciprocal Theatre Company was founded in 1992 and mounted its debut production, Edward Albee's Finding the Sun, in 1993. Since then, the company has produced Craig Lucas's plays Reckless and Blue Window (1995), Henrik Ibsen's When We Dead Awaken (1996), Nicky Silver's Pterodactyls (1996), and Paula Vogel's Desdemona: a play about a handkerchief (1997).

The credo of the Fully Reciprocal Theatre Company reads:

We believe that the magic of the theatrical experience is born of a dialogue between players and audience. We acknowledge the canon of classic dramatic literature and celebrate the creation of new theatrical forms. We are committed to work that charges the mind; work that is lyrical, honest and inclusive; and work that challenges the audience to participate as an active dynamic force.
The company's mission is to awaken a communion between players and audience by presenting new and classic works of theatre in an atmosphere of adventure and fascination.
