Quentin and Daniel have been dating for about six months. Daniel wants to move in with Quentin to take their relationship to the next level. Quentin isn't sure that he wants to leave his roommate and best friend, Rex. But Rex gives his blessing. Later when Quentin and Daniel are in bed, Quentin calls Daniel "Rex." Uh-oh. Daniel leaves, hurt. Quentin and Rex talk about why they never got together. Quentin says he didn't want to ruin their friendship. Things change. Quentin makes a pass at Rex. Hay rolling follows.

It's election day and Laura is ready to win. Clyde and Audrey slept on the sofa all night. Audrey, before she leaves, tells Clyde she'll wait for his answer. She wants him to run away with her. Clyde is undecided. Denise arrives. She tells Laura what an amazing kisser Clyde is -- and she kisses him. Denise leaves and Laura is mad at Clyde. They argue. She leaves to see who won the election. When she comes back, he's organized a one-man victory celebration for her. He apologizes, but she's upset, having lost.

Mark and Elliot are roommates and competitors. Mark thinks that Elliot steals women from him. Elliot thinks that Mark doesn't act, and that's why he doesn't get any action. Annika and Mindy are talking about their studies, while eyeing the guys. Annika says she needs to introduce a human element into her thesis about competitive nature. Mark and Elliot make a bet on who can date Annika. Mark works up his nerve and asks her out. She accepts. Then she asks Elliot out for the same time. She's looking forward to seeing how the men compete for her; all in the name of science.
