for Distinguished Achievement in Writing,

for Excellence in Playwriting.
Jeff Goode's work has been performed in all 50 states and 38+ foreign countries, and translated into at least 7 languages
(German, French, Russian, Dutch, Icelandic, Polish and ASL!)
An accomplished monologuist, Jeff has been featured in the popular
"Best Monologues" books since 1997.
Jeff is a co-founder of No Shame Theatre, and artistic director of No Shame Los Angeles.
A cornfed Iowa youth, Jeff has since moved to California where, among other things, he has written the pilot for
MTV's Undressed,
and created Disney's animated series
American Dragon: Jake Long.
He has also written for
the Emmy Award-winning animated series Tumble Leaf,
Lalaloopsy
and
Curious George.
He is currently a visiting professor of playwriting at
Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia,
and senior playwright-in-residence with
SkyPilot Theatre Company in Los Angeles.
